Can we use CPVC pipe material for the inspector's test and main drain?

Once the water is past the inspector's test valve, or main drain valve, it is beyond the sprinkler system so the material choice is not limited.

It looks like the only thing regulated by NFPA 13 for drain piping regarding material type is corrosion resistance when buried underground.

CPVC piping must not be exposed to sunlight for long periods of time per the manufacturers data sheet. so as long as the drain piping is located inside, you should be ok. The piece sticking through the exterior wall should be galvanized in my opinion.
