Any good software resources out there for predicting fire alarm signal audibility across walls and doors based on their attenuation values and ambient sound pressure?

Acoustics is a bit of a dark art. What's the application?

Not aware of a program for fire alarm audibility. There are programs that Industrial Hygienist use for transmission of sound from industrial complex to a neighboring residential neighborhood.

To add, are their any preferences to fire alarm add-ons whether CAD or Revit for circuiting/calcs/etc or do most people prefer the excel & pdf/CAD method?

When looking to determine this based on Master's Thesis level studies, a professor from Southern California recommended EASE software.

I don't know of any but I think this is a hard thing software without a ton of data. You would basically have to have BIM drawings and information on the materials being used.

I use EASE Evac. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it does great reports and is easy to use after you master its idiosyncrasies.
