Required? Technically no. It would be in NFPA 13D Chapter 11 if it was in the code, and I'm not seeing it in the 2016 edition.

Considering 13D allows for both a "General Pipe Size Method" (12 step) and a "Prescriptive Pipe Sizing Method" (8 step) in addition to the option of a standard Hydraulic Calculation procedure, other than some basic info for K-factor & max spacing of a sprinkler/max flow rate, getting that deep into the results in unnecessary.

Technically NFPA 13D systems do not require yearly inspections after the initial installation. It seems as though 13D systems are left to the owner to upkeep and call if there is any problems that occur. If the 13D system is installed in a care facility I believe then they are required to have yearly inspections based on the states requirements.

Typically no. We don't include hydraulic placards on our 13D projects

Now and then a house is remodelled, added to, so the system needs be updated. I review plans for some AHJ's,

Required - no. But it would be helpful knowing the maximum spacing permitted/design criteria for future renovation projects within the home.
