What are time delay intervals associated with a fire pump's energy source transfer?

NFPA 25 only says it needs to work but doesn't say how long. You have to look at the electrical code which governs that apparatus, NFPA 70. Transfer from the normal power source to the emergency source must complete within 60 seconds and meet the requirements of Article 701 of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
