I have a 2-hour fire rated barrier and need to choose code-compliant firestop. The firestop has different ratings (F, T, and L) - which is applicable?

This depends on which code you are using and whether or not it is a wall or floor/ceiling penetration. Per page 18-74 column 2- paragraph-1 of the FPH, the F-rating must match the rating of the wall assembly, therefore the F-rating should be a 2-hour rating. Some exceptions exist so more information is required to effectively answer your question.
