A quick update this week - back in 2018 I put together a flowchart for when sprinklers are required in closets. It was nice and had some nice feedback, but it only pertained to the 2016 Editions of NFPA 13, 13D, and 13R. This week I went back and made some major updates for references from the 2002 through the 2019 Editions for each of these standards. This cheatsheet is a little more printer-friendly (11x17) and simplified to the NFPA 13, 13D and 13R standards.

Thanks Joe! I appreciate this flowcharts. By chance, can you share what software you use to create them? I have a rough draft of one for valve manifold boxes and gas cabinets but am looking for a fairly easy to use software to "pretty it up" a bit. I have a little background in visio but that's about it as far as flow diagram software goes.

Thanks! Yeah there's a few ways - namely Microsoft Word, Photoshop. and www.draw.io . Those three typically cover most of these cheatsheets and flowcharts. Comments are closed.
