OBJECTIVES
This course covers the different fire alarm system requirements under the International Building Code across different occupancy types. This is applicable for plan review, designers and contractors.

Our objectives include:

1. Understand when a fire alarm system is required among the different occupancy types in the IBC.
2. Understand what terms are important within the code language concerning fire alarm requirements.
3. Understand an example code path to determine when a fire alarm system is required.
