I hope your summer is off to a great start!
Monday is the Start of the Prep Series
Beginning Monday (Monday June 1st), the Prep Series begins, starting a 20-week series of 1-hour, 10-question exam sessions that simulate the actual pace of the exam. It's our best tool to help you assess where you are and where you can improve, all while practicing the pace and style of the actual PE Exam.
You can always find access to the prep series exams and scores here: https://www.meyerfire.com/peweeklyexams.html. It may be worth saving this link for use throughout the summer.
Start & Stop Times
Each Weekly Exam opens on Monday (just like Week 1's exam), and closes the following Sunday at midnight (Central Time US).
This year we also have on-demand testing at no additional cost. You'll be able to take a randomized 10-question exam that pulls from our test bank of old and extra questions. This can be repeated by you as many times as you'd like. This question bank consists of questions that are similar to current questions, but may reference older standards. It's intended as extra practice if you're looking to go above and beyond.
Each week you'll receive a reminder email that the week's exam is closing. These emails usually come on Fridays.
What happens if I Miss a Week?
You'll forever be excluded from the cool kids' club.
No not really - since you're in fire protection you'll always be the cool kid.
If you miss a week - your results won't be counted towards the Leaderboard that is posted each Monday on the Daily page, but you'll still be able to go back and take the test. We recommend that you take each exam as it is offered as a constant reminder to continue studying and to evaluate your progress.
We get it - sometimes you just have to take that hunting trip, visit the beach or go get married... but for all the other weeks do try to keep up - we've found that examinees who study and take the exams consistently each week fair better on the exam itself.
What do I do now?
Nothing - enjoy your weekend. Staring Monday you can access the first week's exam at the link above.
Thanks & have a great weekend!
