What is the industry standard or method used for determining the design area size in order to do the hydraulic calculations for Window Sprinklers in terms of the "Adjacent Sprinklers?"

In this case, I take adjacent to be the pendent sprinklers closest to the sprinkler protected glazing (this would include Window Sprinklers but may also include other means). Unless Room Design is being utilized, sprinklers on both sides of the glass could potentially be used.

Adjacent sprinklers are those that are near the area of specialty protection, which one has to assume will be concurrently activated.

Used to be San Francisco would accept extra fire sprinklers on the inside of a window that was too close to the property line
