There might be a local prohibition.

Provided you are calculating the friction losses through them, no on the installation side from NFPA.

Nothing in the codes that restricts the use of flex armovers as asked in the question.

NFPA 13 (2022) :17.4.1.3.3* Flexible Sprinkler Hose Fittings, requires that the Flexible Hose assembly be mounted & supported by the OEM instructions. The Listed bracket must be attached to the ACT Ceiling grid (or Lay-in Ceiling grid) per OEM instructions to properly support the Flexible Hose assembly. A Gypsum hard Deck using 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' Lay-in sheet supports may allow the use of Flexible Hose to the sprinkler. Good luck!

Great point about the possible local prohibitions and/or modifications. An example is NYC Building Code modifying the hanging requirements for flex piping:

Totally acceptable as long as you meet the attachment method and hardware listed in the flex drop literature.
